Cutting Board - "Art Series" - Tasmanian Oak inset with Coastal Tea Tree
Hi, my name is David, thank you for visiting my store.
I'm a retired "Old School" Carpenter. The Bonnie Timber Board journey began during a long lazy lunch, when I saw that our food was presented on a soulless, piece of mystery wood.
Determined that beautiful food deserved so much better, I was soon creating Timber Boards that were not just functional, but also pleasing to the eye, displaying the natural beauty of woods textures, grain patterns and vibrant colours at its best.
I understand that buying a Timber Board online can be a little daunting, so I do my best to describe each Board accurately and I don’t touch up the images. As clear as I can make it what you see and read is absolutely genuine.
This Board:
One of my "Art Series" Boards crafted from beautiful Tasmanian Oak inset with Coastal Tea Tree.. This Board is Double sided - so you can use underside to cut on and with upper side with the inset wood slices to serve on if you wish - so a two for one Board.
The slices of inset Tea Tree is set in a "Pond" like shape. Each slice is individually shaped and adhered to the Body board then wrapped into a solid Board with clear epoxy resin resulting in a hardy Board ready for years of Kitchen and entertainment action !

Finish: Every Bonnie Timber Board is repeatably fine sanded in between coats of a high quality, food safe, hard wax oil, then finally hand sanded with extremely fine sandpaper and hand buffed with our wood butter, a small can of which is included with the Board you purchase.
Please note: Each Bonnie Timber Board is a one of a kind. Wood is a natural material and may have knots or grain variations that are not depicted. These variances should not be viewed as imperfections, but as qualities that make each piece unique.
