Great Value - "Classic" Cutting Board, a strong and durable Board crafted from beautiful Edge Grain Cut American Red Oak and Tasmanian Sassafras - will last for many year with just a little care!  

Designed and handcrafted at our Bonbeach workshop from the following Timber:

American Red Oak:  A highly attractive timber, the sapwood of the red oak ranges from white to light brown, with a pink to red-brown heartwood. The name, red oak, comes from colour of the leaves in the American autumn.

Sassafras – Golden:  An evergreen tree native to the temperate rainforests of South West Tasmania. First described by French naturalist Jacques Labillardière in 1806. Golden sassafras is a beautiful pale creamy grey to white timber, finishing to a grey and golden tone.

Dimensions: Approximately 395 mm long  x 290 mm wide point x 32 mm thick.

Weight: Approximately 2.3 Kilos

Finish: Every Bonnie Timber Board is repeatably fine sanded in between coats of Fiddes  Hard Wax oil, which when cured is Food Safe, then finally hand sanded with extremely fine sandpaper and hand buffed with our wood butter, a small can of which is included with the Board you purchase.
