Our "Wood Butter" - Keep Your Board Fresh and Good Looking - It Works!

Every now and then your Board will be looking a dry and thirsty and looking for a little love and that's exactly why we make our own Wood Butter, the same finish we use!

Ingredients:

My blend of natural beeswax, food grade mineral oil and a touch of natural orange oil, our Wood Butter finish will nourish your Board and keep it fresh. 

The finish comes in a 80 ml resealable container, enough to freshen up your Board approximately 6 times.

How often to use me:

That's a great question and one I get asked a lot. Unfortunately there's no straight forward answer, but I'd suggest you'll probably notice that your Board is looking sort of dry and dull and in need of a bit of TLC. 

How to use our Wood Butter:

[1] Wash your Board with warm soapy water, stand on its edge and let it dry thoroughly.

[2] For the next step, I've found that an older light coloured tee shirt is great to use to rub on a light coating of wood butter.

Use smaller circular motions with just a little force [a bit like putting on Sunscreen ] to ensure that the ingredients in the Wood Butter penetrate into the upper surface of your Board.

[3] Allow 10 minutes or so for the Wood Butter to do its magic. Use another clean section of Tee Shirt material and using the same circular motion, buff off the remaining Wood Butter.

That's it, your're all done !
