The inspiration for this series of "Flower Board", came to me whilst I was admiring some beautiful bunches of native flowers. They were so bright and colourful and full of character, so I attempted to do something similar.
Proudly Designed and Handcrafted in our small Bonbeach workshop.
Size: Length 39 cm - Width 28.5 cm x Thickness 3.2 cm
Weight: 2.9 Kilo's
Base Timber: American White Oak.
Insert Timbers: Hundreds of end grain cut dowel pieces of numerous different beautiful woods.
Structure: All the separate wood pieces have been enveloped in a quality clear epoxy resin [which is generally considered Food Safe when cured] resulting in a very solid Board ready for years of service
Time to complete: Approximately 3.9 Hours
The Board has been surfaced and fine sanded, then finished with two coats of Fiddes Hard Wax Oil, which is a Food Safe Finish, when cured.
Finally, the Board is polished with our Wood Butter [made from our combination of natural Bees Wax, Orange Oil and High Quality Mineral oil]
