I really enjoy wandering around the Bush, you can always find a quiet spot with a view of something that is interesting.

Recently I was walking along the side Sailors Creek, near Hepburn Springs, when I came across a small wash of beautiful stone pebbles on the side of the creek, probably placed there during the recent heavy rains and that was the inspiration for this lovely little piece of shelf art came to be. 

This piece of Shelf Art stands by itself and is a unique Display piece for just about anywhere inside your home.

Number of Separate Wood Pieces: Approximately: 354 separate pieces of end grain cut wood dowel.

Time to complete: Approximately 3.8 Hours 

Insert Timbers: Include end cut dowels of Huon Pine, Brushbox, conkerberry, Jarrah, American White Oak, White Pine, Blackwood and Rose gum

Structure: All the separate end grain cut dowel pieces have been enveloped in a quality clear epoxy resin resulting in a solid Artwork.

Frame: I framed this piece myself in Coastal Banksia

Finish: This piece has  been surfaced and fine sanded, then finished  with two coats of quality Fiddes Hard Wax Oil, then finally polished with our Wood Butter, a can of which is included with your purchase.
