Don't quite know where my design mood took me on this Board but it's certainly different, maybe I'll call it "Sticks and Stones".
I sliced some Tasmanian Oak [edge grain] like branches on a tree then placed beautiful end grain slices of many different woods around the "branches" to highlight the natural wood graining and colouring. There are approximately 952 seperate pieces of wood in this unusual Board.
This characterful Board will certainly allow you to showcase your culinary and entertaining talents skills in a stylish and impressive manner.

Base Timber : Tasmanian Oak with sides of American White Oak and curved ends from lovely Brushbox.
Insert Timbers : Numerous end grain slices of various timber species including Macadamia, Rose Gum, Huon Pine, White and Red American Oak, Walnut and Spotted Gum.
Structure : All the seperate wood pieces have been enveloped in a quality clear epoxy resin [that is generally considered Food Safe after it has cured] resulting in a very solid Board ready for years of service

Time to complete : Approximately 8.6 Hours
The Board has been surfaced and fine sanded, then completed with two coats of quality Fiddes Hard Wax Oil, a Food Safe Finish.
Finally the Board is polished with our Wood Butter, a can of which is included with your Board purchase.
